...I hope the form of my pots encourages their use in everyday life. Something can be pleasing and functional, and yet made in a simple manner no different conceptually from objects made centuries ago. To me, this is in refreshing contrast to the pace at which much in the world changes.
Most of my instruction was through the Open Program at the Corcoran School of Art in downtown Washington, DC, and also from my father, Dominic (Sr.), a terrific potter and true Renaissance man (Check out the gallery of his work). I've been experimenting with some new glazes on my own stoneware and porcelain pottery. I hope you check back on occasion and see what looks new.
